Creating multiple partitions on an SOLID STATE DRIVE? For system image reasons with Macrium Reflect

I want to back-up my C drive with Macrium Reflect to an external drive but I want to create brand new partition so I can proceed my Steam games to that particular partition and I don’t have to include them in the backup procedure (Steam games folder dimensions are about 70GB). Questions:

  1. Really does having multiple partitions affect SSD performance/life?

  2. Does moving my Steam games to the new partition cause extra writes (70 GB) to the SSD? Or will it be as though I’m moving files to another folder?

  3. How much does a 150GB data get compressed by Macrium?

  4. Any criticisms/suggestions?
