Data recovery 16GB usb thumbdrive from ICIDU

Recently my 16GB ICIDU stopped working after opening a tool from Seagate (SeaTools). Apperently during startup of SeaTools it checks automaticly which drives are available. The program freezed at the USB and after that my USB was unreachable.

Infromation I've gathered so far:

in Windows 10 I get this notification upon inserting the usb :- USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.

In Device manager, under Universal Serial BUs controllers I have an unknown USB device with the following status:- Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)The USB device returned an invalid USB device descriptor.

in Ubuntu I get the following errors:

– usb 2-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 83 using ehci-pci
usb2-1.2: device descriptor read/64, error 18
usb2-1.2: device descriptor read/64, error 18
usb2-1-port2: Attempt power cycle
usb2-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 84 using ehci-pci
usb2-1.2: device descriptor read/8, error -61
usb 2-1-port2: unable to emurate USB device

What i've tried so far:

I've tried almost all the youtube solutions but none of them worked. I did found a lot of errors. But Im not able to see the actual USB storage. Not diskmanager, partitionmanager or any other way. Also not in Ubuntu. When I attach the USB to my pc I don't see it appear anywhere, only the erros. So Im not able to retrieve files, mount it or read any partitions etc.

So I was wondering. Could it be that SeaTools removed a specific driver/communication protocol from the USB drive?

Are there any other options to resolve this?
