Edit: The hard drive model number: WD40EZRZ
The hard disk has been at 100% capacity with a response time of more than 1000ms when I took it off-line
I disabled the hard drive using drive management, I restarted my computer.
We are unable to enable the hard generate again (I can see this listed in my device supervisor and disk management).
I exchanged the failed hard drive with among the working hard drives, and it appears that Hard Drive Write Safeguarded. I can open the photos and movies.
I cannot edit the security configurations, I cannot run windows hard disk error checking, but I can run WD lifeguard diagnostics and it returned no mistakes.
I jogged the windows defender full search, and now it displays I have 3 viruses (it just shows I have three or more viruses no other info), yet I cannot fix it because the push is write-protected.
I’m not sure what’s going on; We’ve never encountered such an outrageous problem before.
System: Windows 11; Ryzen 5900X; ASUS X570; 32 GB; 1tb nvme (< year), 2x 1TB HDD (working 4+years old), 4TB HDD (Failed, 1 Year old); 6700xt. Windows and motherboard are usually up to date.
