I needed to recuperate some sensitive documents We accidentally deleted from my hard drive.

A buddy of mine recommended kickass undelete, recuva and/or photorec.

I happened to run and recovered a lot of the records from kickass undelete and after that got paranoid. Came across an overview on sourceforge saying the a virus. Kaspersky didn’t alert for it.

I suppose the damage has already been accomplished if it is a virus but , anyone know for sure? Are my documents secure by using this program/or are they accessible in order to creator? Questions I should’ve considered before using it/I’m kind of tech ignorant and just went with friend rec.
