Finally I took out there my old HDD through Windows 7 PC (which was locked with Home windows password) connected to my Macintosh and tried to extract outdated photos and other stuff.

Unfortunately there are insufficient files on it and I cannot find any photos. Last time I have used that pc in 2014 and have no clue where and what kind of documents should be placed. There are couple of files in users/desktop or even user/mydocuments, but I’m sure there should be more.

Looking for suggestions for the best ideal software to explore and recover (if needed files) from my old HDD.
