Recently Windows support suggested I use my 1tb hard drive to create a Windows installer with their INTERNATIONALE ORGANISATION FÜR STANDARDISIERUNG file. Despite the file, if I keep in mind correctly, being copied to the generate, I never actually used it to produce the installer because I understood subconsciously it would format it, and I stopped entirely when the installer motivated me to format the drive. I attempted to delete the INTERNATIONALE ORGANISATION FÜR STANDARDISIERUNG file from the drive but We don' t remember if it actually did or not.
Today, a few days later I actually attempt to connect it to my other laptop to work, and it isn' p being recognized. I call Home windows and they take remote access, displaying me that it' s been formatted. This hard drive is yrs worth of work that isn' t backed up anywhere else. As you can imagine I' m panicking.
Before posting this We read up on Recuva, Getmydataback and other software but currently Windows isn' t even recognizing my drive. " My passport" (the name) appears in safely remove hardware and device manager, but not in Explorer, which Recuva is asking for me to specify when searching for files. Exactly what should I do? Format it in order that it can appear and then try? Consider another program? Help is tremendously appreciated.
